Event will be held the morning of Friday, November 18. 



It’s a fun McKinley event promoting fitness, good sportsmanship, and a wonderful 

school community event!


How will it work?

3 separate races Kinder vs 1st - 2nd vs 3rd - 4th vs 5th.

Each class will also have the opportunity to cheer on another race!


This is a CLASS competition!   The class that gets the most  laps in each race will be awarded a CLASS TROPHY - we will take an average to account for different class sizes.


Let’s get Excited!

Every McKinley student will receive a Jog-a-thon t-shirt that needs to be worn the day of the run.  Students are also encouraged to show school spirit and get creative to help cheer for fellow bulldogs.  We will be awarding extra recess and popsicle parties to the classes that show the most class spirit. 


Don’t Forget:

Have your child dress appropriately with their Jog-a-thon t-shirt, sneakers, and water bottle.

Please note that since this event is on-campus during school hours, volunteers need to be cleared by the district office in advance after submitting a TB assessment/test and fingerprinting via LiveScan.
