What is the McKinley Turkey Trot?
The Turkey Trot is an annual fun run event, where students get to celebrate the season by participating in a friendly race with their classmates. This has become a beloved school tradition for students and teachers alike. We can’t make this event happen without the support of our amazing parent volunteers. If you’re interested in helping, we will be in touch soon for fun volunteer opportunities. It’s always a blast.
Why do we do it?
The Turkey Trot not only encourages physical activity but also fosters school spirit and community engagement. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to have fun, cheer each other on, and practice teamwork. Of course, we always love having events for Max the bulldog to attend.
