The McKinley Garden continues to grow as a hands-on learning space for our students! Located on campus, the garden provides opportunities for classes to explore science, nature, and sustainability through planting, observing, and caring for living things.

Teachers and parent volunteers are encouraged to plan garden activities together. The garden beds and storage areas contain many of the tools and materials needed, though we are continually improving and expanding the space throughout the year.

To support classroom visits, teachers and Garden parents are encouraged to review the garden resources and lesson ideas available. These materials help connect garden activities with classroom learning and make it easier to plan engaging experiences for students.
